Welcome to the homepage of the Third East Tennessee Infantry, Company G. We are a family-friendly Union only reenacting group here in beautiful East Tennessee dedicated to preserving the memory of the loyal East Tennessee patriots that fought to defend the Union during the Civil War.

As time goes by, this site will be a more thourough resource for the men of the 3rd and will contain information for Social Studies teachers including links to Civil War lesson plans, Power Point presentations adapted to the Tennessee state Social Studies curriculum. One of our NCOs is an intern teacher here in East Tennessee and has graciously agreed to provide lesson plans and other Civil War instructional aids in the "For Teachers and Students" section, which will be available shortly. 

Whether you are a member of the 3rd, a re-enactor relocating to the area, an educator looking for instructional aids for teaching the Civil War, interested in re-enacting, or simply fascinated by the Civil War, make yourself at home. Re-enacting is something that just gets in you; there's absolutely nothing like it, once you get the bug.
